Our Mission
Cooking Up Character was founded by Susan Poteat in August 2003. Susan previously ran a volunteer service club for her children, as a character-building service project club, and realized the impact she was able to have. Thus, Cooking Up Character was born.
To this date, Cooking Up Character branches have been in homeschool groups, elementary schools, the YMCA and universities.

Our dedicated team of volunteers is committed to helping others. We all come from different backgrounds from elementary to graduate school, but we all believe that serving others and treating one another with love will unify the world.
