Impactful Service Project:
Kids/families will take home a Cooking Up Character provided jump rope to work on physical fitness at home and at the same time make a difference for school aged kids that need shoes.
Month long challenge:
For four weeks kids/families will jump to work on physical fitness at home for a few minutes a day AND to collect gently used/new shoes for nonprofit Note in the Pocket (www.noteinthepocket.org) and school aged children - with the goal to get one pair per week for one month! The Note in the Pocket helps to address clothing insecurity and clothe children and families with dignity and love.
Goal is to have each family jump for 4 pairs of shoes in our Month Long Challenge!
Once you have collected your shoes, please send an email to susan@cookingupcharacter.org and we will pick them up!
How many shoes can we collect in ONE month for School Aged Children?!
