How can we create leaders while solving difficult problems around the world? How can we better the world by improving education, health, economic and environmental outcomes?  
 

Cooking Up Character provides socially conscious people and organizations around the world with very high-quality service. We work with organizations and communities to develop innovative, hands-on, and sustainable solutions to whatever challenge they are facing.   

Through our Service Learning Programs, students are empowered to address the most critical issues in their communities through direct action. By helping seniors, the homeless, and younger kids, Cooking Up Character students learn to lead by first learning how to serve. 

The problems we face today may be different from tomorrow. Our world is extremely dynamic. And what it means to be a leader is dynamic as well. That's why Cooking Up Character empowers students to build unity through service and make the world a better place for all. We call this Passionate Leadership. Cooking Up Character students are taught to lead, first by learning to serve, igniting compassion, courage, resilience, and a passion for the hope, to build unity.

Broadly we are focused on improving education, health, economic and environmental outcomes. On a more focused level, we help seniors, the unhomed, and younger kids.

We build passionate leaders and mobilize them to transform their communities through service.
